Amadou Sadjo Barry

Amadou Sadjo Barry is professor of philosophy at Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe, in Canada. He holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and politics from the University of Montreal. After writing a master’s thesis on Kant’s moral philosophy, he undertook a PhD degree focusing on the ethics of international relations. He has specialized in issues related to global justice, foreign policy and development policies. For the past few years, he has been interested in issues related to ethnocultural diversity in liberal democracies. Amadou often publishes opinion pieces (in the Le Devoir, La Presse Plus, Le Soleil and Le Monde Afrique and Le Point Afrique) devoted to commentary on national and international news.
